Since 1984, I have been involved in more than 30 EU Research, Development, and Innovation minerals-related projects. For more than 25 years, I've been employed as an expert in evaluating proposals, addressing Framework program calls, and as a Project Technical Assistant (PTA) reviewing ongoing EU-funded projects.
I have joined learned international societies and scientific committees, participated actively in international symposia and conferences, and received numerous international assignments.
In addition to papers in International Journals, Symposium Proceedings, EU Reports, and internal reports, I have written articles on geosciences, economic geology, mineral strategies, sustainable development, waste management, environmental issues, etc., in daily newspapers, weekly magazines, and social media and my websites.
All these years, I have been dedicated to applied geosciences, looking outward and implementing innovative measures and new ideas. Keeping an open profile has always been my intention and goal, engaging in closer dialogue with society and a broader public audience. New technological approaches and innovative exploration methods were applied, always trying to ensure that I operated within a framework that promoted sustainable and responsible mineral resource exploitation and development, in terms of economic growth, social awareness, and environmental protection.
